Filter Aids
Precoat filtration is a mechanical process for the clarification of liquids. Suspended and/or colloidally dissolved particles are removed from the beverage via a porous layer. This porous layer consists of filter aids (kieselguhr, perlite, cellulose) and enables the beverage to pass through, whilst retaining the haze particles.
For precoat filtration, the same products are used in all sectors.
